The Water Violet Bow company specializes in fine handcrafted bows made from authentic and legal Brazilian pernambuco. The company was founded in 1994 by Renato Cesar Casara in the small village of Demetrio Ribeiro near the town of Joao Neiva in Southeastern Brazil. The company now employs 10 master bowmakers producing 450 fine violin, viola, cello, bass, and baroque bows annually.
