In the best small master-shop tradition Instruments from the Ling Wang workshop, located in a small section of Eastman's Beijing facility, receive special attention from Eastman's top luthiers. Extensive research into old master instruments and texts and a range of technical experiments come together in these wonderful instruments - some of the best workshop instruments available today. These instruments employ a special method of plate tuning involving graduation (thicknessing) of the top and back, and tuning of the bass bar. The wood and fine details of any instrument vary with each one. Eastman's advanced techniques allow consistently high level of performance in spite of this natural variation.
Please see the summary tables to the left for specifications and prices on particular models. Not all are always available.
